My Walk 4/21/2008

Saw a lot of nice houses and yards in the neighborhood. Had to struggle several times with a lack of sidewalk or no crosswalk on busy streets. Since my family walks all over the older part of Denton, and we often see others doing the same, Brenda and I often wonder if anyone else would like to see more and better sidewalks. Beyond that, we often wish our street was not as wide--it seems to give some motorists license to hot rod. 90% of the time the offenders are not from the nieghborhood, but folks using Anna St as some kind of short cut to avoid Carroll.
